Osher Potpouri Arts Session

In a class led by Artistic Director Karen Mareck Grundy and Rehearsal Director Sophia Meyers, participants embark on an immersive journey into the world of Mareck Dance, gaining profound insights into the life of professional dancers. Under the guidance of Grundy, the founder of Mareck Dance, the class delves deep into technique, artistry, and the physical demands of the profession. Participants experience a condensed version of a dancer’s daily routine, engaging in rigorous warm-ups and meticulously refining choreography. Grundy will share invaluable insights into the multifaceted nature of choreographic creativity and the diverse approaches that can shape its artistic expression. As a captivating culmination, participants are treated to an excerpt from one of Mareck Dance’s current pieces, where the seamless movements of the dancers leave them spellbound. Through this extraordinary class, led by the visionary Artistic Director Karen Mareck Grundy, students not only acquire technical and artistic understanding but also develop a profound appreciation for the passion and discipline that define every awe-inspiring Mareck Dance performance. The class will culminate with an engaging Q&A session, providing participants with a unique opportunity to interact with members of the esteemed Mareck Dance company.

Calling the Ladies and Lords of Columbia! Prepare to be swept off your feet as we transport you to the enchanting world of Bridgerton at our VERY OWN Bridgerton-themed Ball! Enjoy a one of a kind inaugural interactive event experience, where partial proceeds benefit local non-profits focused on the arts. This event is curated in true Bridgerton fashion, from the aesthetic and food to the live entertainment. Guests will take part in a night of regency put on by The COMO 411 and their trusted friends.
