December 17th & 18th  – Peter and The Wolf  Featuring Youth Ensemble Variations

At Mareck Center for Dance Studios

Set to the classical score by Prokofiev, this production tells the tale of Peter, a young boy, and the animals that live in the forest near him. Originally written by Prokofiev as a children’s introduction to the orchestra, each character is represented by a different instrument to combine music and dance in perfect harmony. This performance will also include School of Mareck Center for Dance’s Youth Ensemble performing their variations as they prepare to compete at Youth America Grand Prix. Support our student dancers for two intimate performances at 7:00pm and 2:00pm. Live stream option available.
