Pre-Professional Division
Ages 8 and up, pre-professional students are required to take two ballet classes per week.
Ballet Levels I through VI and Pointe
Beginning with Level I, students learn classical ballet techniques with an awareness of alignment and discipline enabling them to progress to higher levels. Mastery of a skill set is assessed by the instructor & determines class placement. Students are required to take two ballet classes each week.
Pre-Pro Intermediate/Advanced Modern
Modern classes embody free and expressive movement, not bound to ballet stipulations. In these classes students will learn to use gravity and momentum as movement tools, develop use of the spine and head, as well as transitioning in and out of floor-work smoothly. Various styles will be incorporated.
Pre-Pro Intermediate/ Advanced Jazz
Jazz classes develop students musicality and movement dynamics while continuing to train technicality. Beginning and intermediate levels focus on rhythm and technique while advanced levels will integrate contemporary styles.
