We are proud to be the host school for the Moscow Ballet’s Great Russian Nutcracker again this year!
Free audition to all dancers ages 6-18! A cast fee of $65 will be applicable to dancers who are given parts. Dancers may also choose to participate in a fundraiser to cover performance fee. Please pay fee or pick-up fundraiser packet following audition.
All dancers cast must register with a form on the day of the audition, or online at www.nutcracker.com/auditions. There will be a parent meeting after the audition, so please plan on staying afterwards. Rehearsals and choreography with the Moscow Ballet will be after school August 27th -29th . All dancers must commit to attend these rehearsals in order to participate in the performance.
On-going rehearsals will be on Saturdays beginning October 5th until the performance on December 11th. A detailed rehearsal schedule will be emailed by the end of the day August 31st. Dancers must be available for Saturday rehearsals in order to participate. One absence is allowed only with teacher or doctor note. Dancers will be called to the theater for performance during the day on Wednesday, December 11th . Please plan to miss school for part or most of this day. A school absence letter will be provided closer to the date of the performance.
