Jacob Faber

Jacob’s roots in Columbia, Missouri, run deep, having spent his entire life in the vibrant and culturally rich city. He graduated from the University of Missouri (Mizzou) with a degree in Journalism/Multimedia production, an institution he proudly calls his alma mater. In the spring of 2022, Jacob embarked on a new and exciting chapter in his life when he joined the Mareck Center for Dance.

While dance was relatively unfamiliar territory for Jacob, he approached this venture with enthusiasm and was eager to learn about the art form. As he delved into the day-to-day operations at Mareck Center for Dance, Jacob found himself drawn into the processes of choreography, performance, and the creative efforts that bring dance to life. His commitment to Mareck Center for Dance stems from his desire to support the organization’s mission.

Jacob passionately contributes to the growth of the arts community in his hometown. His role is not just a job but a privilege, a chance to give back to the community that shaped him and to be a part of a non-profit organization that has a profound impact on the local arts scene.
