Missy Creed McFerron
Missy Creed McFerron is Publisher and a partner at Jefferson City Magazine, Founder and partner at Dogwood Social and Co-Founder and partner at Campus Coworking Space, MACs Airbnb, and JMJ Properties.
Adopted from S. Korea, Missy grew up as a competitive figure skater and later went on to graduate from Missouri State University with a B.S. in Fashion Design. Today, her work revolves around highlighting the good in Jefferson City through her multiple marketing companies that cater to local business and entrepreneurship. Most recently, she was recognized by the Missouri Women’s Business Center in their 2021 Women Who Own It ceremony as the Entrepreneur of the Year for Cole County.
Her community commitments include serving as a commissioner for the City Of Jefferson Human Relations Commission, Board Member for the JC Schools Foundation, Special Learning Center, Jefferson City Arts Foundation, and Jay Pride Alive. She notes the organization she’s currently most excited about is the NFT/Crypto group she helped start that has yet to be named, but is full of life.
Together with her husband Joe McFerron, Owner at Joe McFerron Plumbing they are raising one ornery and clever Blue Heeler, Jack Russel Terrier mix. She is motivated by her todo list, planning for the future, enjoys making hard decisions, and couldn’t imagine life without Beyoncé.
