Founded in 2015, the Mareck Center for Dance’s Youth Ensemble (formerly Student Performance Company) aims to provide our most advanced students with performance opportunities in a professional atmosphere to further prepare them for a future career in dance. Auditions for the 2020/2021 Youth Ensemble have concluded. Stay tuned for information on upcoming performances and events!

In addition to the Mareck Center for Dance Winter and Spring showcases, students in the Youth Ensemble have also performed at Youth America Grand Prix, National Dance Week St. Louis, Carmina Burana, Grant Arts Night, Mareck Center for Dance’s Choreographic Installation, and Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Joining the Youth Ensemble is a commitment to rehearsals and performances from August 2020- June 2021, so please consider that when auditioning.

The Youth Ensemble is a tremendous opportunity for students, but also a serious commitment. To ensure you are able to give the time and effort required, please carefully read the Youth Ensemble Contract.
